In Los Angeles, undercover cop Brian O'conner, is investigating a series of thefts of valuable merchandise at the hands of three thieves aboard three Honda Civics. The first of the suspects is a certain Dominic Toretto, a mechanic dedicated to clandestine racing known throughout the area. The boy does not know that the meeting with Toretto will be the beginning of his adventures.

First chapter of one of the most beloved and successful automotive sagas of recent years, which led viewers to eagerly wait for each chapter of the story. A first chapter that had all the elements to create a high-voltage saga. I have to say the truth I did not think that the success of this film even reached the ninth chapter that will be released in our theaters in August, and with the desire that this saga never ends.

The film has all the elements possible for a great story to cardio palma, from clandestine races, to rigged engines, speed, action and even drama for something truly unique. I have to be honest just seen in its time it seemed to me the usual movie with the carrier element that are the speed that would make success but that would end up there for the admiration of all, but that each chapter has flooded with enthusiasm every viewer lover of this saga. Then of course you can talk about the history sometimes too high where the machines are so modified that they would envy any self-respecting mechanic.

Palm cardio action

Seeing the clandestine races at cardio palma, where the protagonists live on the edge of the razor every time they set foot in the car, is something formidable also because it seemed as if in reality it was really possible to run so fast without problems to go against the law. I have never been crazy for the racing cars, but I think that if I'm curious about the world of motor racing is also thanks to this film, and as long as I was a child I always thought that you could run so fast, and without fear, the goal in my opinion of the film was to bring in the lives of the young people that you can live even go at high speed but carefully.

Director Rob Cohen with Vin Diesel during filming

I do not think that the director Rob Cohen who had already directed films of decent success like Dragonheart, would have expected that the beginning of the success of this saga in part would be due to his discreet directorial work. This is also his first film about clandestine racing and I have to be honest he did a great job, despite the not so high budget and that turned out to be a real blockbuster. The crew wanted to bring a Los Angeles different from the one we know, more gray but always beautiful where you can shoot at high speed as if it were a normal thing to do. But as mentioned, racing is not the only element of the film, and the action with a hint of drama makes the story colorful in film genres, including the crime genre since the protagonist is a policeman in incognito looking for the solution of the case that no one can solve.

Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'conner (Paul Walker)

That hint of police made the story even more interesting and, seeing the continuation of the investigation between clues and actions at cardio palma made me happy to be one of the fans of this saga. What remains in the heart of all are two characters who have become aces of this franchise, namely Dominic "Dom" Toretto and Brian O'conner, two people opposed by character but who complement each other and who together are pure dynamite. Vin Diesel that before then, it was an actor who had already had the opportunity to work with directors such as Steven Spielberg, with the character of Toretto has created a kind of nemesis to the actor that even though he has played other successful characters most fans remember him basically for this. The tough man who hides a sweet side especially for the family is the real essence of the film, and who created one of the most famous phrases of the saga: I live life a quarter of a mile at a time. On the other hand, great Paul Walker, the handsome from the piercing eyes and the sweet character and ready to defend those who deserve it, is a blow to the heart if you think that 8 years has passed to a better life; the character is the only one who can stand up in front of the Dom, and is revealed to be the head of the duo, good and brave in situations that it always ends up winning as his colleague.

Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster at the presentation of the film

But do not go unnoticed, the two women of the saga, Letty Ortez (Michelle Rodriguez) and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster), the former is famous for the series Lost has created that kind of a woman you really like taking head many men but fragile internally, his love story with Dom is a shock for the whole film, and is the person for whom Toretto will never cease to fight; as well as My younger sister Dom, who would not think of living a life to the fullest in this way, and his romantic history with Brian, has made the saga pretty exactly for this. Sorry that Brewster could not repeat the same success even outside of this character that formed her. Although less important, are the results funniest characters of Vince and Jesse, the first childhood friend of Dom and rebellious character and warmer, I seemed to see the jealous person that does not want to accept not to be at the centre of the life of the Dom and that clashes with all; the second is the genius of the group, which looks like a guy who is not the center with the life outside of the law, and it shows, but that just wants to be accepted.

The saga has given us a great antagonist but one of Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) is not at the same level, the actor of origin south korea here at interpreting chinese (quite the opposite), I wasn't wowed in fact I bored, because she plays the usually the son of the father, who is later revealed not to be, even he is the real enemy, we say that they could do better, not just make the bosses threatening if, then, it is he himself who seems to be threatened by the life cardio, palm tree that looks like fuggirli. If we then want to describe the clandestine races there would be so much to say, just describe that each race is spectacular and the winner is not only the one who runs faster but the one who runs with quality and who wins.

The soundtrack signed by Bryan Transeau aka BT, brings electronic melodies that serve for such a film but also strong melodies and convey the true meaning to the cardio palm of history. Many rappers participated in the soundtrack in particular Ja Rule also among the secondary protagonists of the film that combined street rap with various melodies, although the main theme of the film is the song deep Enough by Live with a truly energetic rhythm. In a nutshell a film that will remain in everyone's minds as it is then the whole saga, and that the right start of what we have seen and that we are still seeing today in every chapter of this fabulous story.
