The young Shawn's life changes radically when after yet another stunt, he is forced to move to Tokyo from his father so as not to risk the reformatory. The boy will have to deal with a new lifestyle, new people who will also try to put the stick between the wheels, but more importantly he will be a participant in the world that he loves very much or car races.

Third chapter of the homonymous saga, is the one that definitely detaches totally from the main story even if then we will discover that the story will get stuck in the following chapters. For the first and only time there was a radical change from what we had seen in the previous chapters, also because in many respects it does not seem even a film of the saga but another film that talks about cars, racing and speed.

If I have to be honest it seems in many respects the teenage comedy where the rebellious protagonist like ours, must redeem himself for the last time or it will be the end for him, but to do so he will have to change a lot of his old life. All this combined with the theme of clandestine racing is something truly unique. A chapter composed of the great moral but above all human senses, and also carries the meaning of being teenagers and having to prove that they have grown and matured, living in a state totally different from their own with totally different uses and Customs and this was the real proof that the saga works well even without original cast and different theme.

Shawn e Neela

Many of these actors did not think they had the perception of having to do something unique to replace the real protagonists of the saga, and surely this gave him great desire to act in the film. Starting from the fact that many of them before were not even in the center of the big show, probably this film would have made him make the career leap and for some of them so it was. If it is true that Vin Diesel is unique and does not touch, the young Lucas Black did not slow down to the first real important role of his career. Let's say that on the one hand it may seem like a kind of Toretto, grumpy and not always sociable but then with the right people he calms down and becomes another person but still this was not enough for his career, so much so that after this film the cosmic nothing. I must say that his part I did not regret indeed he passed the expectations as a young promise, the role suits him with the desire to split the world against those who did not believe in him proving himself as a true connoisseur of cars. What to note how the relationship with the father reflects very much that of many children who live the divorce of their parents not always in an excellent way but with distance, but above all the father is the model of the parent who has almost never been there for the son and this also the cause of his rebellious character.

Shawn e Twinkie

The chapter also releases that side of femininity in the face of the dolce At (Nathalie Kelley), the then-rookie actress twenty-year-old has had to engage with her character very similar to his person in the sweetness but also mysterious in private life, and, in fact, the actress has not always been present on cinema screens. A useful character for the film itself that initially seems an antagonist and then turns out to be said Sweet and sensitive from the touching past. Decent impression for the rapper Bow Wow that with the role of Twinkie reveals how you can be a good friend. He is very engaged in trying to find the right soul of the American among the Japanese, who despite a little self-centeredness is funny and joking.

One of the most iconic scenes in the film

Finally a first taste of antagonist with attributes, the typical city bully who with the luck of being the grandson of someone important does the hard with everyone but who then shows himself as the most frightened to which his lifestyle is too good. It embodies all this the character of D. K. (Brian Tee) and I have to say that the actor of Japanese origin threw himself headlong into a role not by him also because this was perhaps the only villain role in his career and opened the way for him, also because he is more remembered for his sweet and unselfish characters than evil. The rivalry between him and the protagonist is one of the sticking points of the film, the essence of how even domineering guys do not frighten.

Han Lue

Speaking then of the character of Hahn, surely one of the most beloved characters of the saga there would be much to say and it is also true that we can name him a kind of Master and friend of Shawn, let's say a master Myagi of Underground Racing and younger. Sung Kang cut out the right part of the film, becoming the most representative character in history if there had not been the protagonist, a good-natured and loyal person, with his distinctive trait of eating the chips that everyone now remembers and that makes him the character of which he does not forget. For the first time, then, the theme of the saga is the drift and not the illicit street racing, or control the vehicle when it loses traction and speed, which collects more of the essence of the saga and what's even more beautiful you can do in a city like Tokyo, where it is a world apart and it seems everything is not real, for the technology has the japanese capital, even if many of the laws were invented in the movie and I don't think that if you exceed a certain speed and the cops can't catch you it would be absurd to, I understood that showing the city as a truly incredible destination can be fine but exaggerating on customs and Customs seems too much.

Justin Lin during filming

Pass to Justin Lin, the director in taiwan has decided to aim high in their career, and with this film he has reached the right reputation and later became a chief balance of the saga then having directed most of the chapters, giving the lifeblood to the entire saga, even if they are more known for this franchise and other films, and its quality can't argue that's why he deserves the chance to direct another. This time the soundtrack is Brian Tyler, who has created unmistakable melodies for the saga giving that suspence where it is needed in the film accompanying even the most calm scenes. The composer originally from Los Angeles decided to give a twist to the usual theme of the film by completely changing sound. Of the soundtrack where then we find those melodies raeggaeton and rap give even more prominence to the film, where we notice raps like Daddy Yankee and Don Omar. In a nutshell, a film in its own right of the saga that heralds the beauty of the subsequent chapters and its success.
