Plot:

REVIEW:

The seventh chapter of the eponymous saga, in my opinion it is definitely the best of the various previous chapters, rich in emotions on all fronts, and a succession of action that is truly at the limit of the entertainment but also the greeting to one of the most unique in the saga that no one would ever thought he could make an end so premature. Let's start with him and we know well who we are talking about, namely Paul Walker who died prematurely in a car accident at only 40 years old, blocking the filming of the film in advance and thus making the release in theaters slip. The Californian actor left a void both in our hearts because to see such a young and talented man die like this should not happen, but also because he left in the saga a part that will be impossible to replace. Walker in my opinion has released his best interpretation of Brian O'conner since he began, a character considered as I always say absolute, the thinking part of Toretto that in my opinion has lost the best shoulder that could happen to him. And I can be sure no one will ever replace him; what has been great is how they did it out of the scene, as if, after having built the family had to abandon that life, that will always be part of him, and that is what they could not do it die in the movie because it would have been a big mistake and we should praise his brothers, Cody and Caleb, who with the help of CGI, they brought him back to life to give them a proper greeting.

And if Paul Walker was the last race for director James Wan is begun to another, even because it was from a genre like horror ( remember that he was the director and creator of the saga of Saw and many other films of the genre), and meet for the first time to direct a film like this could be difficult to do, but also to digest, it was a flop, and putting it under criticism. Instead I have to think again also because the Malaysian director had to do better than his Taiwanese colleague, and I can say he did even better by changing many things including many more action scenes at cardio palma and great work that really amazed me even better than the other films of the saga. But it was not enough, for the first time since the saga finally began the goal is not only to elliminate the enemy, but also to save a hostage to then elliminate the enemy, a kind of double plot to save the world. This detail may seem small but it is of great importance also because we were a little tired of the similarity of the previous plots where there is only one enemy and our protagonists only have to kill him. I think Wan wouldn't even have expected to work for this team, even if you see the paw of Dear Vin Diesel far and wide for much of the plot, as if the actor were the director added to the film.

James Wan with Vin Diesel

If it is true then that real actors never lose their polish it is also true that there are certain actors who are comfortable in the films where they are cast. I'm not talking about The Rock of which I finally found confirmation that it has become the prince of the action film, or, at least, among the best in the genre, giving us a scazzotata with Jason Statham in his own way which makes the viewer to enjoy the show, hoping that the two if you give her thrashing by turning over the palace from top to bottom; although I must say that the character of Luke Hobbs in this film spends most of the film in the hospital and little outside, as if to justify a lack of him but his few scenes were unique and of true sense of action. I repeat I was not talking about him but about the now immortal Kurt Russell who in the part of Mr. Nobody, a name that could not be more ambiguous but that makes it clear how much the actor originally from Springfield took of his to prove that he can still say his, and we are talking about one who has worked with directors like John Carpenter. Russell has also hit us this time also in the part of the secret agent with a secret team ready to help our protagonists, who without his help could never defeat the real enemy, even if it seems the typical character that dissolves into nothing to not really show who he is in reality.

I would not say thanks to Russell alone if the enemy has become more vulnerable, but above all to a little girl or Ramsay, let's say a computer supergenietta, a kind of female Tej who thanks to her extraordinary hacker skills builds a kind of electronic eye that would find a needle in the haystack. Not really the element to Fast & Furious but that serves not to make the plot age and rejuvenate the saga, if we then put the South American beauty of her interpreter, Nathalie Emmanuel, known for her role in the series Game Of Thrones, even hackers are less afraid and believe me such a girl will serve the team. A woman also endowed with sarcasm as he dismisses the scene after his rescue, small laughter when he describes the team teasing Roman and reselling it has hit us in full.

The complete new team

I would not say that the enemies have been a gamble as I read it, but instead we have nailed it, first of all because Deckard Shaw is finally the enemy that was needed for the story to continue, and a killer of the secret forces without mercy using anything to kill you, and if Statham seems hard, then it is the right character to interpret it. Not only because it is the enemy that would never have to face but also because for the first time the series has an enemy, as you say, and brother Owen was just a taste of this new enemy as if Deckard was that there remained but stronger ( that Owen is not even dead after the previous chapter). But if Statham is much stronger you can see it from how he kills his victims mercilessly and Han knows something about it (we will finally understand his death in the third film); I can say that you could not invent better to face our protagonists also because when you think you have defeated him you find him behind. Then the scene of the final clash with Toretto armed with English Keys as a duel with swords but Dragon Ball style then there is nothing more to say.

The final clash between Toretto and Shaw

If the scenes at the cardio palm of the sixth chapter you had liked in this film they put us even better to excite everyone passing between one state to another. Scenes at palma cardio difficult to make and I believe that jumping from a bus running as it is about to fall off a cliff or jumping from one tower to another with the car in the center of Abu Dhabi are not enough to understand how much time and effort it took to create the whole thing. Things that if I see the first chapter I would never have expected and it did not end here also because there are scenes that only Vin Diesel could do. Just Toretto rediscovered his lady will be the protagonist of an exciting but also overwhelming episode. Just the beautiful Letty will bring out the attributes in a clash between women truly unique to see and review, I confirm the Rodriguez is back to 100%. If we then put the class in making Roman laugh then there is nothing that can stop them, even falling from a plane in the car like paratroopers and I told you everything, maybe. Let's say a saga now around the world, and that has nothing more than motor racing.

The scene in Abu Dhabi

But the emotion does not end there, let's talk about the last greeting to Brian he deserves. Epic the scene of the cars of our late protagonist and Dom, who drive away taking two different roads as to indicate that Brian has taken a road without return. If we then put a rediscovered soundtrack and composed by The Return Of Brian Tyler the emotion is truly tearful. All thanks to a sound wonderful that rapper Wiz Khalifa has seasoned by god, by writing and singing one of the songs the best of the saga-See You Again", a duet with an emerging Charlie Puth (the manufacturer of the individual and his idea), you move and which was also nominated for a Golden Globe (the first nomination important for the saga); the meaning is in the fact that the saga has lost first of all a friend, but that we will find a day. A unique film of emotion and grit as only knows how to make this saga.
